ALONG A LONG
Performance / Crete, 2018
 

A GPS trace marks the path hiked by Odysseus Atlas on the island of Crete, from its southern shore to its northern coast, following longitude 25° 47′ 20″. Aspiring to draw a straight line on the GPX tracker, we followed the compass north and walked paths not yet taken. The 18.98 km hike took us 10 hours and 40 minutes — from dusk to dawn.
